The statement "a nation divided cannot stand" comes from the Bible, specifically from the words of Jesus in Matthew 12:25 and Mark 3:24-25, where he says, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand".

In this day of Donald Trump and compromised Churches, it is incumbent upon all prophets to speak truth to power on behalf of the powerless and society.
