LESSON-1 DISCIPLESHIP

Our Redemption as Son`s of God

Galatians 4:4–7 describes how God sent His Son at the appointed time to redeem humanity from the lawallowing them to be adopted as sons and receive His Spirit, enabling them to call God "Father" and become heirs to His promises.

The Gospel of Sonship…Gal 4:4-7…From orphan to heir: the gospel as adoptionGalatians 4:4–7 is one of the most emotionally rich and theologically potent passages on spiritual adoption. It’s not just about salvation—it’s about sonship, inheritance, and identity restoration

“But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, ‘Abba, Father.’
So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

A STORY NARRATIVE OF GAL 4:4-7

“You’re Not Just a Believer—You’re Bloodline ”You weren’t just lost. You were locked out—living like a spiritual orphan, trying to earn your way in with good behavior and religious hustle.

You knew the rules, but not the embrace. You had the map, but not the home. Then God said, “Now’s the time. ”Not random. Not rushed. Right on time. He didn’t send a memo. He sent His Son. Born into the same mess we were stuck in—same laws, same limits.

But Jesus didn’t come to play by the rules. He came to flip the whole system. He came to buy us back. To adopt us. To give us His Spirit so deep inside, we don’t just believe—we belong. And suddenly, you’re not just praying. You’re crying out: “Abba. Daddy. I know You. You know me.No more slave mindset. No more outsider energy. You’re a son. A daughter. An heir.

That means everything that belongs to Jesus—peace, purpose, power, presence—it’s yours too. You didn’t earn it. You inherited it.

Meditate on what this means to you, internalize it into your spirit/soul...Become spiritually aware of you who are now.
