Men who separate themselves from God—the true and only source of life—don’t realize the gravity of that choice. Satan made a similar mistake when he rose up against God’s authority, igniting a rebellion that ended in his swift expulsion from Heaven. Jesus Himself described it: “I saw Satan fall like lightning.” If Satan could undo that fatal error, he would—because its consequences have echoed through eternity in ways more devastating than we can fathom.

Satan learned the hard truth: to sever yourself from God is to sever yourself from life itself. The shock was instant—outside of God’s presence, there was no light, no vitality, only a pitch-black void. He and the angels who fell with him were marooned on a planet engulfed in water and darkness, nothing more than a desolate graveyard of potential. There was no earth as we know it, no materials to shape or speak into existence. Unlike God, he possessed no power to create life—because he was a created being, not the Creator.

And that, men, is the very choice so many have made today. When you disconnect from the One who is the source of life, light, and creativity, you don’t become free—you become empty. You cast yourself into a spiritual abyss, with nothing to build from and no authority to overcome it. What Satan discovered too late is the same warning echoing to every soul tempted to go their own way: apart from God, there is no life to live.

It was the voice of God that brought the universe into being—His word alone formed the worlds, the sun, the moon, the stars, and every element needed to sustain and nurture life. Nothing exists apart from Him. So, fellas, choose wisely while you still can. Reconnect with the Creator before it’s too late. Don’t trace the footsteps of Satan into destruction and separation from God. Scripture gives us a lifeline: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) That’s not just a promise—it’s a divine invitation to restoration and wholeness.

And PSALM 103:8-22 SAYS IT ALL- 8 The Lord is full of compassion and mercy, slow to anger and of great kindness. 9 He will not always chide, neither keep his anger forever. 10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as high as the heaven is above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12 As far as the East is from the West: so far hath he removed our sins from us. 13 As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth whereof we be made: he remembereth that we are but dust. 15 The days of man are as grass: as a flower of the field, so flourisheth he. 16 For the wind goeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 But the loving kindness of the Lord endureth forever and ever upon them that fear him, and his righteousness upon children’s children, 18 Unto them that keep his covenant, and think upon his commandments to do them.

9 The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven, and his kingdom ruleth over all. 20 Praise the Lord, ye his Angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandment in obeying the voice of his word.

21 Praise the Lord all ye his hosts, ye his servants that do his pleasure. 22 Praise the Lord all ye his works, in all places of his dominion: my soul, praise thou the Lord.
