FMO COMMUNITY: WHERE DO WE STAND?
Brothers, are we truly prepared for the direction this nation is heading? Scripture warns us: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” And right now, America feels fractured—politically, socially, spiritually.
As men of color, we must be clear-eyed and courageous about where we stand. The current administration is deploying the National Guard to fight crime—some see it as protection, others as occupation. Is this justice, or is it overreach?
Is there a better way? Could the administration work with Governors and Mayors—especially in blue states and cities—to craft a more equitable strategy? One that respects local leadership and community voices while still addressing violence?
Or do we go deeper—beyond policing—to confront the root causes of crime: underfunded schools, neglected neighborhoods, broken systems that fail to serve our people? 🗣️
Bottom line: the people in these communities deserve a say in their own futures. This is America—a democratic, capitalist society—not a dictatorship. We must not be silent while decisions are made about us, without us.
