Provide Meeting Space for a Small Group
As we add more small groups for men and women in recovery, we need safe places for them to meet. Churches are ideal locations for small groups to meet as they are safe public places but they also offer privacy so that groups can share openly.
As our group members have al kinds of schedules, we have small groups that meet somewhere every day of the week and at all times throughout the day. One simple way for a church to partner with Pure Life Alliance is to offer meeting space for new groups that develop at times that are convenient for that group's needs.
Host an Event
Throughout the year, Pure Life Alliance holds workshops for pastors, people wanting to learn more about purity ministry, and our own leadership and group members. These workshops may be during the week or on a Saturday. Offering to host an event is a way to support PLA's ministry without making any kind of long term commitment.
Promote Pure Life Alliance Events
As discussed in several places throughout this site, purity issues negatively impact at least 50% of the families on our churches today. This is not something we can afford to ignore. Promoting PLA events is a way for churches to take bold steps towards being a sexually pure church without having to create programs yourself.
Request promotional materials and PLA will send you Power Point slides for the upcoming events, bulletin copy or inserts, and brochures.
Volunteer Manpower
Perhaps there are members of your church looking for ways to assist a ministry on a very short term basis. Assistance with mass mailings and event material preparation would be an excellent way to get involved with purity ministry without any kind of long-term commitment. We also frequently could use help with data entry of various kinds at our office.
Promote FMO and HH Small Groups
Get your people the help they need. Recovery from sexual addiction or the effects of a spouse's sexual addiction is more complex that treating other forms of addiction. The roots of the causes go deeper. Generic recovery programs do not produce the same results as support groups designed specifically for people affected by sexual addiction.
Pure Life Alliance has worked hard to find the best recovery materials available and develop a small group program to make the best use of them. We constantly improve and revise our men's and women's programs based on the latest research in the field. Our small group leaders must go through training before they are allowed to lead a recovery group. We have ongoing training for all our leadership as well.
Pure Life Alliance does this to allow any church in our region to participate in top quality support groups without having to carry out the ongoing planning, research, and training themselves. PLA will provide your church with bulletin copy, inserts and brochures to promote FMO and HH small groups to your congregation.
Request a Presentation
Pure Life Alliance can give presentations to groups within your church. This could be a men's group, women's group, recovery group, or even the congregation in general. PLA uses informational speaking and testimonies to help church members recognize issues around purity in their own lives that they may have been avoiding or neglecting. This is a very powerful way to help men and women learn about the first steps they can make to begin to win the battle against sexual impurity.
Support Pure Life Alliance Financially
Several of our Network Church Partners contribute financially to the ministry of Pure Life Alliance. Our ministry is based almost entirely on volunteers, but we do have a small staff to make this crucial ministry in purity possible. We do have ongoing expenses, not just for operations, but to support the workshops and training events that we regularly hold. Even a small monthly donation is significant in this ministry.
